Global warming carbon footprint fact or fiction

Yes its me again, I hope I'm not frightening anyone off, this thread is not directly about self sufficiency but is related, please bare with me,
Since the TV program about the particulate syndrome causing the droughts in Africa and the floods in others, I have been doing more reaserch on the subject for a while now, some are my own thoughts but the rest is from the experts,
Since the advent of the industrial revolution and the modern combustion engine the world carbon particulate levels have increased massively, the more fossile fuels we use the worst this scenario will get, modern ways of life are based around the next day delivery route, which is not very cost effective, we are sometimes spending more on delivery charges than the item itself is worth, bringing items that we should be making here in the uk from the other side of the globe is tremendously wasteful, and is thought to be causing some of the problem,
of course there are all the natural disasters like bush fires and volcano output, but we are all doing our bit, money and greed and disshonesty are the main driving forces,
This is how the experts say the carbon footprint versus rainfall works,
The given polution in the atmosphere carries along with it the available moisture in the air, the more pollution that is in the air the more moisture that will be needed before fully saturating that pollution before the rain is released, thus the rain that normally drops in a certain area travels many hundreds of miles before doing so, and in some cases comes so fast in an area causing real havock which we have all seen here in parts of this countries and world disasters.
What is happening is we are changing the worlds normal seasons and natural cycles, if this is the case then we must use our resources more responsibly, and use what energy we have left to produce more cleaner systems before we run out of that power, once the point of no return has passed we will be without the power we need to protect ourselves, the current situation of the flu epidemic should be a wake up call for us all.
