I'm going to be really geeky now...

Can we turn this topic into a photo thread?
Post up pics of your allotment plot please?!

I love seeing what other people have done with theirs and it's a great way of sharing ideas :flower:

Here's mine, it's a work in progress! (& yep, that's my son in the wheelbarrow being kept steady by my mum!)

We didn't have a wheelbarrow or mother to push him around in so that is george in the playpen, where he very happily sat for 5 hours, and where I hope he will be just as good tomorrow, so we can get the rest of it dug over.

Looking forward to starting to plant this week

Had the plot for a couple of years now - so there's a record of it over the years http://www.flickr.com/photos/flohewitt/ - take your pick of what you want to see. Too big for one picture to show much.

Thanks! When i moved in it was just a blank canvas and it stayed like that for years....a bit of skip/verge/tip sifting and a few rescue missions later(and 3 years of hard graft)and this is the result

I think the only thing we actually 'paid' for was the netting and the sheds, even the greenhouse was a rescue-job.Madness what people will chuck isn't it?One man's rubbish is another mans treasure as they say.....

becks77,it all depends on my children TBH,but my Lottie is my garden so i'll go out with a torch if neccessary!

I love everyones plots! It's so fun looking at all your different beds & whatnot

becks77 - we spent a couple of hours a day there over this holiday, getting beds built & dug, building the shed & the paving area. Still got two beds to build & dig and then the fun starts - sowing & planting!
I'll probably go there at least once a day after all the heavy work has been done.

Hey Hey! I finally took the camera down to my lottie! I must say that it isn't always this tidy - I have a very lovely neighbour who keeps an eye on things for us too, as he is retired and down more frequently than we are.
