Hello from Northumberland

Post: # 148659Post alybsc »

Hello I'm Allyson and I live just outside of Haltwhistle in Northumberland.
For the past 12 years or so I have been earning a living making natural soaps and skincare, I used to have a smallholding with two milking goats, 20 Bovans Nera hens and a fab veggie garden with a 20ft greenhouse...but I got divorced and it all had to go! However on the bright side I'm just about to start a new veggie garden and I'm saving up for a polytunnel. I won't get goats again 'cos I was distraught when they died (of old age) but more hens are a possibility...but then I have to go away sometimes with work and we have no neighbours to put them away for us!
We try to live a non harmful lifestyle...difficult with teens in the house who like beep beep items, anything plastic and never switch a light off! But doing something is better than doing nothing.
Looking forward to reading all of your posts,
Allyson.

Hi there from a fellow Northumbrian!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
