Does anyone know where to buy feeders, drinkers etc,. for chickens in Ireland? My chickens are coming in 2 weeks time and I want to buy the few bits and pieces I need beforehand. The guy I'm buying the chicken coop from has offered to sell me 4 point of lay pullets, a feeder, drinker, grit feeder, grit and a bag of feed for 100 euro. Is this a fair price? I haven't a clue to be honest? I don't need the grit and grit feeder as i already have some as I keep other birds.

Probably a bit too late now Ger, but I only just spotted this post.

The last lot of POL pullets I bought (last year) were €7.00 each. The last bag of feed I bought (last month) was €8.70.
Water for mine is in an old washing up bowl and food is in an old chipped casserole dish.
So allow €8 for the birds and assuming you have some old dishes, you should be paying about €40 for birds & feed.
Possibly €100 is a tad steep.
