both...
There are other options though... lots of events taking place through the year all over the UK...
Perhaps everyone could research their local area and post their findings??

The big green thingy is in August - I've just found out that that's not a good time for me to be off, as my boss needs to go on holiday then.

Sherwood Forest, obviously, but only whilst I am there! I don't expect you all to try to fit in with the few days I'm in the UK so you lot organise what is the best thing for all of you who live there.
I'll have a barbie in France in the summer in your honour (with the english sausages that I'm taking home, of course!

Thanks Gunners - I fancy trying some of those interesting sausages you get from a butcher who specialises - mixed with all sorts of interesting flavours. Right now we are just happy as larry with bog standard supermarket stuff that family bring over!

Yes, French ones!!! Horrible taste, full of gristle and very expensive as well (not that I buy them). Give me sawdust and floor scrapings any day!

Er, yes, I did get around to buying a meat grinder with a sausage making attachment, just haven't got round to trying making sausages yet! (Need to find a recipe first - well that's my excuse!).

There was one posted on here a while ago, although I seem to recall it was for large quantities.
