how to find copper and zinc in horse foraging

sorry i needed to alter the title and it doesn't make much sense, (a cunning plan to get you to read my post) I have been having a few problems with one of my horses starting to show some signs of the early stages of laminitis. I have looked at loads of web sites laminitis trust etc. But one school of thought is that if the horse is on pasture which is : rich in iron and low in copper and zinc this may be a factor. I just wondered if any of you smarty pants might know what plants /grasses i should look for that are especially high/ low it these minerals

clover, wholegrain, perhaps something yeast based as a suppliment

Forage maize or silage made from it is a good source of copper and plants that deep-root such as alf-alfa / lucerne should also be good for both copper and zinc.

thanks peps. I think i'll try alf- alfa as a short feed for a while to start off with see if there is any improvement but also see if i can plant re seed a bit of clover. I am not sure that he has ever selected a patch of clover to eat though i dont know why . I mean whilst out on a hack i have stopped and let him graze i usually try and point him to a nice rich patch and i have simply observed that he usually mooches off it without taking any . again thanks for your responses
