Making own poultry feed

				Hello,
We did get some turkeys this year, and I'm now for the last while increasing the protein content.
I'm using the calculations from that website (although phil had explained me that a while back). But here it is:
http://www.lionsgrip.com/protein.html
Here is what I am using:
1 scoop whole wheat/whole barley -> 12.5% protein roughly
1 scoop whole oats ->12% protein
1 scoop maize meal (flaked or finer) -> 9% protein
wich gives us 11.16% protein
now I would want something around 20% which would do well for everyone (broilers, turkeys, geese, layers, stud roosters and growing roosters)
grains 11,16% protein 28 grains parts
20%
soya 48% 8.9 parts soya
so that gives me roughly a 3 parts grains to 1 part soya ....
Can anyone confirm this is good enough ?
it seems to do them well, and costs way less that the pellets, and it contains all the goodness in the grains if you can get them whole.
I get mine from the local mill, so I have to bag it up myself but you can put more in the bag ... and avoids most of the processing.
Anyone else is making his own feed ?
