Baby Twiglet Is Here!

Just thought I'd pop on briefly and let you know that Finlay Malcolm McNeil arrived safely at 4.21 this morning (Nov 13th, 6 days early) weighing in at 6lbs 14oz....and he's wonderful! A very chilled out young chap with a very healthy appetite! 
Established labour was only 3 hours, and I managed it all with just Entonox - yes I DID scream out for an epidural, but Fin decided to make an appearance before the anaethetist did! I also managed to get myself discharged within 6 hours, so I'm back in the 'comfort' of my own home which is bliss.
Anyhoo....must go and relax a bit now, I feel as though I've just run a marathon!! Going to try and convince the better half to go and buy me some Brie, and cook me a really runny egg!!
