now I have your attention, I'm hoping for some ideas for the possible uses for (clean) re-usable nappies, now that Katie is potty training. I know I could give them to charity shops, and I have donated some terry nappies to a very needy assylum seeking lady who was 8-months pregnant with twins when she arrived in England, but if what I have left have a possible new use I'd like to keep them (especially if it will save me some money in the long run

). So far, my ideas are:-
1. floor cloths/cleaning cloths
2. put them in plant trays to stand potted plants on to prevent water-logging - do you think this will work?
3. use as hand towels at the allotment

5. cut one into 1/4s and use them on dolls.
6. keep one for showing friends/ family/ children how to fold a terries nappy (yet another thing I had to teach myself)
(re. number 4..... I am thinking that is just a tad OTT just to re-use nappies

)

8. Keep one to give to your daughter when she has her first baby - my mum gave one of my terry nappies and I use it on my son!
9. Make a towelling robe for your daughter

10. Roll them up, sew along the seam and use them for draught excluders.
11. Sew two together leaving one side open, fold down about an 2 inches, sew almost all the way around leaving the seam sides open and thread a chord through to make a simple draw string bag for putting 'stuff' in.
