WWOOFer-ish wanted

Post: # 123240Post Clara »

So most of you have gathered by now that I'm pregnant and I also have a toddler in tow......cue OH announces that he's off to Nepal for October to go do scary stuff in the Himalayas

We normally host wwoofers at this time of year, but this time I'm putting the shout out for something a little more specific.

I need HELP! Not only with maintaining the veggie patches and feeding the animals, but also someone to make life a little easier around the house, help with cooking, keeping tidy and a little childcare, for an easy going 2 year old who loves wwoofers and messing about outdoors. I'm not looking for a slave, usual wwoof hours will apply (5 hours a day, 5 days a week) - just someone willing and able to give this mama a break. Female with driving licence preferred. Must like animals and not be afraid of getting a little muddy.

In return I can offer you a chance to experience life off-grid, in a magical woodland valley in the mountains of Granada. We are away from roads in the midst of some great and ancient walking country. Autumn is IMO the best season here, chances are it will be sunny in the day with the cosiness of the fire at night. I'm a fairly good cook, happy to cater for veggies (but sorry vegan would be out of my league).

So...do you want to know any more? Pls post any general Qs here, so everyone else has the benefit of the answers, otherwise PM me.

Look forward to hearing from you all, Clara x

Now that would be something I would love to do - if I didn't already have what will be a pretty huge bump by October and a screaming banshee of a toddler of my own!!

Just wanted to congratulate you on your pregnancy, Clara. Lovely news! :flower:
I took my dog to play frisbee. She was useless. I think I need a flatter dog.

Aha! I see. Sounds a great idea.

Anyone fancy being a WWOABOSF (willing worker on a bit of swedish forest) - get in touch!

Clara, have you found anyone yet?

As a general question: would just part of the time be useful? I might be able to come for two weeks, but I couldn't do a whole month.
Smile :)

Thanks for your reply. I possibly have someone, for some of the time, but it's not written in stone yet. If you want to PM me to tell me a little more about yourself, why you want to come and what you can offer, then I'd be glad to let you know anything else you wanted to know about us and our set-up.
