I moved my little aloe to another window so it could get some sun, and it turned brown!
I moved it back yesturday and i think it's getting greener, but then I might be imagining it.
Has anyone else had this happen? Do you know what it might be??
Thanks

Mine have been forgotten about on the top of a bookcase, and are quite happy - I water them rarely and sporadically and they have no direct light... hang on, I have one of those 'expert' books somewhere...

Yes over water causes yellow, droopy leaves
They like light, but may need shaded in high summer (maybe the last week or 2 has been too sunny)
They like fresh air.
Water when soil dries out, but in winter only water every month or 2.
The above is all courtesy of 'The houseplant expert' Dr.D.G.Hessayon... 1980 edition, bought for 50p at a shelter charity shop a fortnight ago

.... I have edited a bit, obviously, it goes into much more detail. HTH

ignore them. leave them in somehwere which is bright, btut not directly lit (near a window is fine but stick it behind a curtain). don't water until they become a realy light turquoize. the idea colour for them to be is a dark-ish grassy green with nice plump leaves. any other colour and you've annoyed it.
talk to them on a regular basis. no, seriously. they love being told they're beautiful.

Lots of filtered light, not much water, as they are succulents. They don't like to get too cold either. They like soil that drains well.
Overwatering or strong, direct sun will kill them. They get sunburnt easily.
