More time
More energy

Happiness for all my family
Health for my dog
An OH
I HAVE got a solid fuel Rayburn which I love, runs on a free supply of wood scrounged from anyone, keeps us warm, hot water, fantastic cooker, couldn't ever move!! pbf
Irrigation ditches, house plumbed for grey water usage, solar panels for hot water heater and lights, generator.
All that plus my wee house moved onto my own land.
Tonight, I'd settle for a good night's rest and a bathtub faucet that doesn't leak.
My own house.
An extra, but retractable arm - two just aren't enough.
Go gadget legs
A TARDIS
A chair
Some cheese
A good grammer guide
Some more time in each day
My new specs - they must be ready sooooon.....
To be part of a happy hard working self sufficient community and never need to step foot in the souless capitalist hell towns ever again.
its my nice dream anyway :)
Oooh this is a dangerous thing, thinking about what you DONT have. In the words of Mogli (or was it Baloo) (and more recently, Rosey's signature)
"Once you know you can live without it,
Just go on not thinking 'bout it-
that's the bare necessities of life"
I am trying really hard these days to think about what I have and be grateful for little things on a daily basis instead. Until now, it worked.
But what the hell:
- landrover Defender (red please)
- dog and job which facilitates the same
- floristry certificate or job which facilitates going to college to obtain the same
- magic debt wand to wipe out debts
- alpaccas and money to feed them
- more land for market garden
- ownership of my own house (or at least a mortgage ffs!)
- national trust greenhouse (rrp £9,999)
- backboiler and central heating system for woodburner.
"A pretty face is fine, but what a farmer needs is a woman who can carry a pig under each arm"
A yurt in a BIG field, miles from any civilisation and technology.
As long as we had the means to feed and clothe ourselves I wouldn't want anything more, although maybe a pub half a mile away serving a good Sunday roast would be nice

Come on over and see the fun at Troll Manor http://trollfamily.blogspot.com/ Now blogging once more :) after a little shove from the one and only MMM.
Living somewhere other than here. We were looking at farm/land last night and saw one ideal for a few families with the same ideals as us to move in too, with lots of acreage for being self-sufficient. A little, tiny bit out of our price range by about half a million pounds.
Oh, and rain whenever it's time to walk the dog. It's great walking the dog in the rain, fewer idiots/druggies/alcoholics.

Sounds like you live next door to me - but I know you dont as there is no-one here that thinks like people on this forum do.
