It was a reply to me Eigon that is very interesting, and especially heartening that it works well! This is off topic but: I used to work in the voluntary sector and I'm always interested in small-scale collective decision making processes and how people get on with them in practice.

Don't know about today but bananas used to come by boat.

When researching my family tree I found a court case reported on the internet from about a hundred years ago brought about by my paternal grandfather's brother over a lost (rotted) shipment of bananas!!! We (our family) were in Fiji hence the bananas. Thought they were just sugar cane planters. Amazing what titbits come up when you're doing genealogy research.
