Again I know this is from a while ago so all might now be well, but have you tried massage? If you massage the stomach with one flat hand above the pelvis and below the ribs in a clockwise direction (the direction of the digestion) this can make a huge difference. There are also a couple of baby massage techniques which might help. PM me if you want them, or I can try to explain them here.

Kind of. It goes like this:
I - Facing your baby, use your right hand to stroke gently but firmly once from just below the baby's ribs to the top of the pelvis on their left (your right).
LOVE - Again using your right hand, stroke gently but firmly from your left to right across the body just below the ribs and then down on your right to the top of the pelvis.
U - Still using your right hand and starting at the pelvis on your left (your baby's right), stroke gently but firmly in an upside down U, going no higher than the bottom of the ribs and ending at the pelvis level on your baby's left (your right).
Repeat 3 times, saying the stroke each time. When I was learning to teach baby massage, I was taught that you're telling your baby how much you love them. I secretly thought (and still think) that you're reminding yourself of the fact just as much as you're telling them.
How about "Sun and Moon"? Ever get your head round that? Actually it's quite easy when you get the hang of it and, with "I Love U", great to do on yourself if you ever get trapped wind. The direction's the important thing. You have to massage in the direction of the digestion, which is clockwise. Just be prepared for dramatic results if you do try it
