For now, yes... we like the continental look too. White walls and loads of exposed wood (or eh... fake wood laminate flooring) It feels like home to us.

Also,
White paint is cheapest.
Can always get cleaned and painted over - should a toddler find herself with a crayon
We don't need to put the light on as early
We can change the colour of the settee, curtains, etc without clashing with the walls

That's all my reasons for keeping the walls white, too! Well, except for the toddler and crayons... :wink:
