OJ we take 6 cans of coal dust add 2 cans of sawdust and 1/4 can of cement mix with water till just moist and using an old marg tub turn out to dry...........you multiply this to suit the amounts you have,they burn slowly but hot and are a good way to use up cement that has got a bit iffy and coal costs too much to waste any.

Many,many ,thanks. OJ (I dont buy coal, but a couple of people I know do,so this weekend,I'm going to sweep up their coalsheds without charging!).

OJ, i put coal dust in with paper pulp and make paper and coaldust pulp balls, they burn quite well because i can't abide waste

Thats a good idea too,thanks,............more stuff to dry out on this cold ,wet hill.!

You have reminded me that I have had an unused log maker in my loft for decades: Must try it!

Been drying grass cuttings this week (many thoughts for using them).
Also have an unused humane mouse trap in the loft!
Amazing how much stuff I have to bring into use of some sort, without buying anything: Hoarding is such fun when you put it to good use.
