Yesterday was the first day that there were TONS of swallows here, it was just like 'normal'. It helps probably that there are cows back in the field next to the veg patch (cows = flies) so they were swooping low in amongst the cows then twittering over my garden. :hugish:

I saw one towards the end of March but then it was almost a month before I saw another one, but no house martins or swifts yet I take it the numbers are still low, did see a spotted flycatcher the other day though. And by the way how many swallows make a summer?
