You may have misunderstood how the IOC works, Boots.
They get the jollies touring the world at other people's expense.
If such a committee was formed for the Intersite Olympics, then I might consider it my duty to stand for election, even though I've no interest in sport at all.
BTW, what sport is a thong used in? Is it a good spectator sport?

mmm...

Ok... Doesn't being self sufficient mean we are part of the solution. Does that NOT mean we are automatically on the committee? Bugger, here I was thinking democracy was getting a fair go 'ere.
Right - please send forms Andy - I wish to apply for a position beside Muddy travelling the world "getting the jollies".
Dear, dear Muddy...Out here in the boosh, thongs have been a natural development of the boomerang. They are a constantly evolving multi-purpose tool used for foot protection, swatting flies, chasing off feral critters, and disciplining the odd young un'. I am not sure who looked at the between-toe feature and decided the same feature could (or should) also be applied to buttocks, but I do think that wearing the poorly named new development is a sport unto itself.
You get me on that committee - and I shall bring you some real thongs with double plugs!

Ok... can you see the resemblence?

Well, I think that an Olympic event of 100 meters bit-of-a-run-around-whilst-wearing-thongs would be highly entertaining, given the international nature of the games.

Nev started talking about thongs a while back and he did not know the difference between the aussie and uk thong, I can see great confusion might happen with that.
Did you know the american for bum bag? fanny pack now that could be an even ruder missunderstanding.
Right then bad news I am afraid after some careful maths the prices I quoted are wrong. It is actually £10 for adults and £3 for kids

sorry.
We only have a handfull of bookings so far so looks like muddys IOC could be in jeapody

I think £10 per adult is pretty good for a day full of fun, an evening of barn dancing... and an overnight camp!!!! Remembering of course that it is the height of the holiday season etc....
Hope to see some more people coming along - surely not just Andy, Dave, Us and Cir3?!!!

If it was closer maybe. But Devon is too far away. Then again so was Coventry.
