He also pointed out that he hadn't intended to charge us for the fuel that we'd 'used' (ie had been peeing all over the road outsied our house for 14 hours before we managed to get him to sort someone to pick it up - he was planning to leave it there a further 48 hours!
I am hoping that I've made him think twice about the importance of vehicle safety and yes, we have pointed out that death is indeed a serious problem but who knows.
I dread the thought of taking him to court as we're still battling with the bank who sent us a letter to say our payment date had been changed, so I changed our direct debit then they didn't change the payment date and charged us for late payment every month until I realised. THen I wrote to them twice and they ignored me (more months of charges) as they wouldn't hange the payment date by phone. ... the late payment charges took us over our limit and so they charged us for that every month too. Aaaaaaaaaaaargh.
Sorry, I'm even going off my own topic now but I do get cross: we have never missed a payment and always pay more than the minimum amount but we keep getting charged! Aaaaaaaaaargh
