... particularly appropriate if your gift is a homemade loaf of bread!
For storing your CDs to prevent them getting damp in the wonderful, but currently rather murky Scottish weather.

i was going to suggest keeping your homebaked bread fresh in one......
keep a box of matches and some kindling in one when you go camping....keep the rain out...
(might be a useful tip if we do this selfsufficientish meet up as a camp!)

Is your head very small Andy?

I can hardly get the cat litter inside one without spilling, let alone get it over my head!

He did say 'fashion' into a hat, so I guess a snip here and there to make the bag fit would do the trick. You could probably add some decoration and make it into a wedding hat!
How about using a bread bag for collecting your foraging goodies? Scrumped apples etc?

I hesitate to throw this one in but -
As a Mt Druitt condom - a plastic bread bag (or part thereof) and a laccy band.

I think we should have a photo of Andy with a bread bag hat on!
Following on from Shiney's idea, collecting seashells and pebbles instead of making your pockets all damp and sandy.

Was not sure about this one - To put over your keyboard as a guard against coffee.

Emma's in for a treat, then!! LOL
Perhaps a clear bag would be better for protecting your keyboard, Andy. Unless you touch type?

I'm pretty sure he often has a bag over the keyboard- especially when he's drinking. Hence the erratic spelling...
Better idea for tonight's dinner: Wear the bread bag as a bow tie!

use it to store an extra lens in when you go out taking photos - will protect it from the rain... or river water if you drop your rucksack in the river

Andy, your spelling has actually improved a lot

- I thought if I didn't say that you might tie a few bread bags together and use them to throttle me with!
