The things i have against nuclear are:
1st-waste, well, i guess you can put it in lead etc, but im not convinced
2nd- terrorists, sure you can say you'll have security, but there's a fundamental problem (maybe i should make it a law, not sure i can describe it well enough), you can start with lots of security etc, and this will stop terrorists, but then you wont have terrorist attacks, and no need for security, so you won't improve it, as you dont need to as there aren't any attacks. Also, terrorists really believe in their cause, and so will be far more innovative then security councils.
3rd-,uch better ideas, we can have all our energies without any problems, such as heat pistons (my amazingly cunning idea), which i may reveal when i have convinced myself i won't make a fool of myself :P.
