How true. I bought mine from a local book shop we frequent when we are over in the lakes and I asked if he had nay books on Self Suficiency and he brought one out that seemed to have been written in the 50's so I asked if he could get the bible and he coul. I support this shop as he has helped me out a few time before so I don't hassle him for a discount and so paid the full cover price. however he did say that he had bought 3 copies for stock as it looked so impressive.

Also i need to offer thanks and praises to andy and dave because I was also in lakeland plastics... i'm a sucker for that shop and was going to buy a dozen of those jars with clasps on for preserving and whilst I was waiting for my wife I read a bit of the bible and there is said keep your glass jars for preserving etc. Thanks Andy and Dave... you saved me 12 x 2.95 or well more than the cover price of the bible......

Don't thank me, use it as a review on amazon or wherever and tell everyone, I think it will save much more than that!

Hang on I am wearing my selling hat

I did a review on Amazon... come on everyone do one too and boost the sales a little.
In fact if we all just look at it in amazon it'll go up in the search options (I think that's how it works?)

Of course but you will have to go through Hodder's book people book point They are out of stock at the moment and won't reprint until they have enough "dues" this means they won't reprint until enough book shops order in a load of copies. So tell every book shop you know to order some in

Nice one. Seems a shame that it will be wrapped up for all that time, hope you enjoy it when you get to see it, no peaking. When I am next in Monmouth I will happily sign it for you.

Yep as shirley said bike ride over now. I was keeping an kind of back diary on the blog but the stats suggest that no one is reading it and the other stuff about home brewing etc seems a lot more popular.
