I remember there was a case once in a public pool, where a man complained about the "offensive" sight of a pregnant woman in a bikini... Well, if she was 7 months pregnant, he was at least 10 months gone! Talk about offensive beer flabs!!! What a cheek...
I don't think his complaint was successful, btw.
woohoo to babywearing but...

I have heard so many stories about horrible comments from people in regards to baby wearing. Until recently I had never received an unkind comment, in fact the opposite. I have regularly been told that my baby was where she should be, in my arms (I use a Dolce and Zoet sling).
Until recently that is ... my own sister had a go at me because my little one was scared with all the visitors on Boxing day so I put her in the meitai. 'Oh that straps too tight' (going across the back of her legs) ... it wasn't. 'She can't be comfortable in that', she seemed to be. You get the picture ...
I do use a buggy as I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. I am not comfy with putting the one year old on my back by myself yet. The 3 year old tends to get excited and runs. So for safety reasons both of them go in the buggy when I go shopping (it has a toddler seat).
I've come to the conclusion that people comment about 'new stuff' when they are a little jealous they didn't do it ... so rather than say that something was a good idea they rubbish it to save face. Or am I just analysing my sister
