I had only two courgette plants but they're covered in powdery mildew so have had absolutely zip from them. Any ideas how to prevent or treat (if it happens again next year) - tis my first year at growing anything so im a complete novice to all this (but loving every minute - would love to give up the keyboard in exchange for a shovel..!!!)

thanks

I have about 25 lovely bright dark orange potimarrons (a French pumpkin) and about 8 small butternut which are just starting to turn nutty coloured. I'm not sure I have enough windowsills this year for this lot and I think I'd better start eating last year's butternut soup that's in the freezer!

my butternut squash are hopeless - only just set... dont think we shall be lucky there.. same with pumkin - HUGE plant... 1 green pumpkin the size of a tennis ball - but we still have lots of frozen from last year..

but vegetable spagetti (squash with spagetti like flesh) is doing really well now yay!
