Can you grow sweet potatoes in England?

Blimey Wombat :shock: ,

I'm definitely the wrong side of the globe when it comes to sweet potatos, my one I put in water went mouldy - got some whoppas from the supermarket and they're in the oven roasting now, yum yummy yum pigs bum! :mrgreen:

i meant to grow some this year - but forgot, actually bought some, them cooked them!!
grew some last year, tis easy here in the heat

Back to the Eden Project - we went last summer, peak season, but got there early and saw most of it before the hoards arrived. In theory it opens at 10 I think. We got there at 9.30 and were allowed straight in. Go in the tropical dome first before it gets too hot!

Take a picnic if you can as the food is very dear (although very tasty!).
