seems that quite a few people have parents that suffer strokes from the support we've been getting, but she's a tough old bird who has a healthy diet (apart from WAY too much salt) and gets plenty of excersise so i think if she just slows down a bit and cuts down on the salt she'll be fine.
us camilli's are tough, my dad did the west highland way in less than a week and the cuillin ridge in a day in his 70s a year after he should have died of stomach cancer!

Most UK based websites won't deliver outside of the UK, and if they do, the postage is usually astronomical. I can't see anything that mentions delivery to the EU on the website that sells the Battles stuff.
You may not believe it, but really this is not a country that cares a huge amount about animal welfare! Most people don't get their cats spayed and they just drown the kittens. Hunting dogs are shut in tiny cages all summer long or kept tied up on chains and bark incessantly. Would they care about a few itchy chickens?
There may be stuff available to commercial breeders but not to Joe Public!
It will be interesting to hear what your brother's french neighbours have to say about available products.
