bout five hours from stoneys to the ferry, 20mins on the ferry then half an hour down a very hairy single track road  it took poor ginger 2 weeks to get over it :pale: though he's settled in nicely now.

You're more than welcome to stop off in Yorkshire on your way up to Scotland Andy, the neighbours think we're eccentric but we're in good company here
I've a spare bee suit so you can look in the hives and the chooks and rabbits are always here, sometimes with babies. I'm also contemplating a couple of geese but don't hold me to that. If you time it right they'll probably be a couple of pigs you can play footy with as well.

If you fancy a swim across the irish see .. you are more than welcome to come to Galway ..

you will see the way too many chickens (26 right now, some due to hatch this weekend, and some more in 2 weeks times), the geese, the goats and the sheep ..

Andy, I'm sure you'd find quite a few willing helpers here in Aberdeenshire - I'm rather busy lambing just now, but there's a lot of livestock keepers on NEEPS, so the concentration of knowledge in a fairly small area is pretty dense! And you can get the overnight bus up to Aberdeen... Return cost £60 last time I went to Bristol. Train was more comfy, but also a lot more expensive!

Also, you've been meaning to come up for a visit for years now, haven't you?
