Signed even though I haven't got any kids or a telly 
Had the TV Licencing here today to harass us.
Bloke changed his mind pretty sharpish and scuttled back to his van. Might be something to do with DH looking like a Hell's Angel and sounding like a civil rights lawyer...

My DH got a visit from the TV Licence folk when he was single and living in a flat without a telly.
TVL : Is this your home, Sir?
DH : Yeah
TVL : We don't appear to have a record of a television licence at this address
DH : That's because I don't have a telly
TVL : Then you won't mind if I come in and have a look around
DH : Not at all - you can give me your address while you're here
TVL : Why?
DH : So I can come and have a look round your place
The telly bloke got a bit upset at this point, insisting he had every right to confirm the lack of a telly on the premises, which they actually don't have without a search warrant. DH pointed out that he didn't care if TVL was the King of England, he didn't have any right to come poking around his house. Never heard any more about it.
