I like real weather - none of this sunny climes stuff. It's one of the reasons why I'm in NE Scotland and not back in Oz.

As for tempting, anything with big mountains, lots of trees, running water and proper weather is always interesting, but you have to beware of the "grass is greener on the other side" syndrome.

How about the Cascades in the US? Looks even better, and you get Grizzly bears, too. And hopefully in a couple of years you won't get G. Bush.

My sister is moving to NZ and is trying her best to interest me in moving there too. I only moved to NE Scotland last November but I already know that this is where I'm going to stay. She really can't understand why I love it here. As Stonehead says, we have 'proper' weather here, In Northern NZ she will only have 'ish' weather!!
I think that the 'grass is greener' syndrome makes a lot of people unhappy and very poor!
