I am just trying to remember where I was just yesterday!
I am sure I have been witness to many things, but I have been wracking my brains to remember just what/when/where etc.
Let me think on this....

In the early 1980s we introduced Recycling to Derby!
Calling ourselves RAG (Recycling Action Group) we`d leaflet a big car park (usually Sainsbury`s!) asking people to bring their newspapers and aluminium cans the next Saturday. We turned up with a big skip and spent the day receiving papers and cans - which we sold for the fighting fund. We did this about once a month for a couple of years. It seems strange now to see the car park now equipped with glass, paper, plastic banks etc!

That rather large gust of wind that Michael Fish was in denial over back in October 1987. Actually, I slept through it as most of the roof of my parents house, and those of our neighbours, detatched itself from the rest of the building.

This is me first thing in the morning:

Ditto 21st century.
I was there when thousands of people broke the world record for the largest dance lesson (okay so it's not that big a deal but it's still a world record).
