I'm a Tetley girl myself as well.

I like mine with full fat milk (I don't hold with this skimming of milk - nature intended cows milk to be FULL of FAT ! YUM!))

I'm trying to wean myself off sugar as most of the folk i know don't take sugar and I always feel vaguely ashamed when they offer me tea and then have to hunt their cupboards looking for sugar.

I like Earl Grey occasionally, but prefer to make my own because the shop bought stuff loses its fragrance too quickly. Or maybe I don't drink it quickly enough.

I recently discovered what I think is called Twinings Chai - very fragrant - like drinking flowers with a hint of spice. It was very relaxing.

I've just discovered the Pukka Detox tea - thanks to you and monkey nuts... MN bought some on the last suma order and so I took one of the packets. It's VERY nice - I leave the bag in to make it even stronger. YUM.

I hate it when DH forgets the tea bag is in the cup, you take that last big gulp, and get a mouthful of soggy teabag

Have run out of sainsburys red label (my fave tea) Dad is coming out to visit on the 6th Dec so supplies of that (and strong cheddar) will be coming then. At the moment we're drinking chai bora grown in the south of tanzania on the old brooke bond plantations, have to have two cups strong with skim milk and half a teaspoon of sugar at 05:30 before I can move to deal with the chickens, dogs and kids!
Have sold up in the UK, now living on Mafia Island, in the middle of an old coconut plantation. We catch our fish, have chickens, grow fruit and veg. We are powered by solar and an ankur gasifier - no mains elec here!!

I wonder if there has been any studies into what 'how you like your tea' - says about you?

I have noticed that people who have had periods of no money will have developed a taste for black tea, workmen tend to have at least one sugar, people who like a drink have strong tea and organised people have milky tea. - no basis in anything but observation for that little study.

Everyone who works with me gets tea with milk and 2 sugars no matter who makes it, just makes it simple, the call goes out who wants a cup of tea then you make enough to cover all the shouts. Tried to stop taking sugar but no one remembered so its still on the sugar.

I like strong tea with little milk - so according to Andy`s analysis I`d be a disorganised type who likes a tipple :?
Yup - sounds about right
