breadmaker vs hand made bread

You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

i did have a breadmaker - it did break lol and i am happy making my bread by hand - i make about 2 loaves a week for me and the kids - DH the neaderthol prefers shop sliced hovis type rot in white please not brown for him! I dont actually mind cos the kids and I have more of the yummy home made wholewheat bread...!

:lol: I have hens which are supposed to equal lovely fresh eggs, but have to buy eggs from the shops for Himself, who wont eat ours - he says they taste funny - I say this is how they are SUPPOSED to taste!
