I found some bulaces this morning, but couldnt reach any of them as I'm only 4ft 8in high.

With the glut of rose hips, sloes and crab apples in the area we've been keeping a track of where all the free fruit is too. Found some sweet chestnut trees but was disappointed that there was hardly anything in them.
On the other hand found a nice pear tree and got a few pears off it, bit grainy but be good for preserving though

We've just made crab apple jelly - very nice!! Not foraged as such.. but loosely associated with the term because the tree was in our garden when we bought the house..
I would LOVE to find some sweet chestnut trees.... does anyone know of any up here in Aberdeenshire?
