Quite right, not very environmentally friendly in terms of the disposable sticks but no worse than condoms I guess and it felt better than being on the pill.

I understand the point about the environment and I know two wrongs don't make a right etc but think how many disposable nappies you can get through in a day - a tiny stick isn't much in comparison so if you potty train from birth or use washable nappies perhaps you can be a little lax on the disposable sticks for contraceptive purposes
I certainly wouldn't trust natural family planning otherwise with my body.
It's possibly all hypothetical for us though as our current method doesn't seem too bad and we don't have a spare £60 for one of these machines!
