There was a feature in one of the papers a while ago about someone who decorated the houses of the super-rich and he'd just installed a moving dolphin mural in front of someone's treadmill in the exercise room and I thought, that's hardly the peak of culture and civilization, is it? Marching on a treadmill looking at a fake dolphin? I think money's overrated if you start to think things like that are a good idea.
Well I am very offended Susie, I actually have one in my living room
Seriously, how many million other things are there in the world to buy before you run out of ideas and consider animatronic fish??
Bonkers.
"A pretty face is fine, but what a farmer needs is a woman who can carry a pig under each arm"
Were you insulting pigs by comparing them to bankers? Or the more sensible suggestion that as pigs eat anything, bankers should be used as protein supplement? Wouldn't want anything too toxic in the meat though ......
Love and Peace

The law will punish man or woman
Who steals the goose from off the Common
But lets that greater thief go loose
Who steals the Common from the goose.
The latter of course......on a similar note,I was considering stipulating in my Last will and testament that my remains be fed to pigs and the resultant manure be packed up and posted to DEFRA......not that I bear grudges or anything...
It's the shear brass neck of the bastards that impresses me. OK, it doesn't actually affect me, but even so... All that blitz spirit bollocks they spouted during the election campaign and as soon as they think they can get away with it they just p1ss all over the tax payer. Breathtaking.
Undeniably true, but am I any more alienated than I was under the last lot? At least you know what to expect from this shower(reminds me of Alexei Sayle: ''Well you always knew where you were with Mrs.Thatcher''.... '' in the shit''........ ).
The last lot, Blair ,Brown,Darling and co were just another set of tories, they were nappying the city almost as much as Cameron's crew, and sickeningly expecting us all to be grateful that we don't have to work for less than £6.50 an hour.
Yes they were in pockets of bankers and that's a good point. I think with Labour though I didn't feel they were trying to dismantle a lot of things I would ideally not want dismantled, for ideological reasons. I think this though is where I am emotionally with it and in some ways it's just a kind of prejudice like any other. I don't need to hug hoodies but I probably need to go and hug middle aged ex-public school ex-Oxbridge men to try and make my peace ;-).

............Surely a misprint.......You mean mug rather than hug.[/quote]
Come, come, Jerry. You must understand that these chaps put their trousers on the same way that we do. Alright, they get their valets to put their trousers on the same way that we do....
Depressing. The only difference between Tories and Labour are that Tories are so blatant about being greedy soul-less I-dont-know-whats-but-I-could-think-of-a-few-choice words!
Loathe them all!
