I have to admit to sitting shivering because unfortunately I have a prepaid meter left from the last owner, is very expensive. Can;t afford to set myself up the way I want to though ie: solar and the such

Hello there ,

we poor bast@$@#& in Germany pay around 22 € cent for a kwh .
I heard friends in France qouting 11 € cent , wow what a difference , but of course the country
is full of Nuclear power stations , of course the kwh price is cheap !

The other interesting question would be :

how much do you receive if you supply back ?

Here , if we invest in solar panels and supply back to the net , there is an arrangement that
we receive 45 € cent for a kwh ! which other country in Europe can do that ? If we were in one europe ,
why are there such huge differences ?

Business tariffs are often higher than residential, and I know someone who's paying over 20p per unit with EDF on a business tariff as a low user.

I comparing prices yesterday with a view to changing supplier. If you look at MoneySavingExpert.com (utilities) you can bring up the prices that the various companies are charging. You do seem to be paying slightly over the odds. :wave:
