One question which I have about rabbits for meat is how should I keep the rabbits? I've seen people have racks of cages almost battery conditions. I'm not sure if i like that. I've lots of space but nothing to keep the rabbits in at the moment. Do people have suggestions for nicer habitation? (piccies would be great). I've read that is not great to keep rabbits directly on the ground, but I want them to have space.

p.s cooked rabbit is awesome, I've had a few from a friend and they are very tasty

I just got two French Lops for meat rabbits. A buck and doe from different lines, both about 10 weeks old. So I'll need to wait a few months before I can bred them.
For housing I converted a 6'x8' garden shed, and fixed the cages to the walls at a comfortable working height.
