We have a private landlord - our village had no allotments and he very kindly "gave " us a piece of land and left us to it!. The only stipulations were no Polys and sheds all to be in a row and not on the plots. We have twenty plots and a waiting list, but I still want a tunnel! pbf

I can't find them for sale anywhere else  but I am sure you must be able to get one cheaper.... or fashion one out of wide tape and a strip of plastic perhaps.

I've got this on the side of my plytunnel. Picked up something similar at B&Q I have two butt each side of the double doors. Theyb are all raised to about 1.5ft The guttering runs into the outside butts which then overflow in the next one. I have a tap on the water butt connected to a water pipe which runs down and under the poly then it runs down the wooden base rail on the inside. I then have drip pipe running off the main pipe. The drip pipe is cut into 3ft lengths, which is almost the width of my outside beds. The only bed that needs watering by hand is the centre bed. I'm going to look into timers to see if it would be worth getting one.

The guttering sticks to the outside of the PT I used some repair tape that I got from first tunnels and used this to stick it from the outside onto the tunnel , it has been fine in the strong winds. I might add another water butt to each side if we get some more free one on the site as it makes such a difference to my time if I don't have to walk a coplu of plot down to get water.
