I think it's more about which ones NOT to choose - very leggy growth, damaged leaves (they sometimes get stuck trying to get the seedcoat off and never really recover) etc. Let me know how they come on - I'd never have thought about planting any so early! If they survive they're going to go nuts outside

I hate deleted posts. Now I,ll never know if I,ve been slagged off!
The triffids are doing fine hedgewizard, windowsill has slowed them down a treat. They look real healthy so far, which is more than can be said for my chilli peppers.
The 4 that sprouted really quickly are a bit leggy, but the rest are ok. Not a seed pod in sight.
I,ll pot them on when I think they need it, and leave planting them out until the recommended time. Hopefully that will be ok.

I'm jealous, that's all. We're in exile until April 1st when our renovations are finished. Our little greenhouse has too much glass missing for starting anything off, and I can't get the polytunnel up until I can get some help on a warmer day. So all must wait!
BTW anyone know how to delete obsolete posts? I keep posting twice by accident when the server gets too laggy. Sometimes the "delete" X is there, and sometimes it ain't!

Should be there all the time, give me or one of the other moderators online a pm if you want rid of extra posts.
I only ever delete post that are spam or duplicated. I generally leave all posts up, even if they might be considered offensive. That is apart from once when some just posted swear words. So don't worry about being slagged off.

Andy, usually non-moderators are able to edit or delete their own posts, but I notice some sections do not have editing and deleting rights, whilst others do (can't do either in this section). I guess this is to do with the options that you had access to when you made the forum. Might be useful to people if it could be made the same in all sections.

We've had some hilarious results with that on here. Have a look at this thread. You will need to follow it through and read the quotes to understand what went on, because the filter is not on any more.

Try this

And if it does open, you'll understand why Andy doesn't replace certain words!!! Good for a laugh, though.
