I ran around last year trying to find JAs,finally got some and planted them a month later than recommended,they got to 6 feet or so,didn't flower,but still digging them up now for stews........I think the "windy effect" lessens the more you eat them,i've found fried ones to be fatal tho! lol.
I've managed to get some"fuseau" ones this year(less knobbly variety)and these and some i dug up yesterday will be going in the new lottie
I think B&Q must do them every year now,got mine from a shop called "The Range"i know there are a few branches around the country.I'm so impressed with them i think i'll grow them every year now
