I don't think Muffin Dixon-Spain would be up for any oscars! Though I reckon Dongwell gets my vote for Mrs F's well hung guinea pigs surname - no offence to your mum!

I think Ginger-Bits Brunsden is likely to be in B movies that can only be shown after a certain time!

I don't want to know what kind of movies someone with a name like that makesinvisiblepiper wrote:They say that if you combine your first pet's name with your mum's maiden surname - you get your B movie star name. This is an interesting concept. My first pet was a lovely dog called Boris. My mother's maiden name was Bernstein. Boris Bernstein sounds like some sort of Russian double agent to me...
Our current vet in France insists on speaking to our cat in Spanish. I've tried explaining that they only have Spanish passports and actually "speak" English but he won't have any of it! On the other hand he speaks to me in Spanish too on the basis of the cats' "nationality" - which makes for a very quick double think when I've got my brain into French mode and looked up all the appropriate words to describe veterinary problems.

Growing old is much better then the alternative!

Hmmm. Does that mean your first ever pet as a child, or the first pet you got and named yourself without arguments with siblings and restrictions by parents? If it's the first, I would be Sukey Skinner, if the latter I would be Gibson Les Paul Skinner!invisiblepiper wrote:They say that if you combine your first pet's name with your mum's maiden surname - you get your B movie star name. My kittens (rest their little paws in peace) were:
Gorgo Dixie Orange-blossom and Leonidas Jackson Stripes
Well, officially but we called them by so many other names too they must have had real identity issues! As a pair they were Kitkats, munchkins or monkeys! Dixie was often Niblet, Dixie Chick or Dixon of Cat Green and Stripes was Stripey pants most of the time or just Cat Face.
Wow, our friends must really have thought we were mad! Looking at all of your pets names I can see we're not alone though!
(oh and I would be Tabitha O'Donnell)
