I have quite small ear holes, but I find if I squish the plugs up really really small, then put them in, they're ok... maybe that's just me.
Thanks for the advice, stripypixiesocks, that is exactly what I shall do!

Re: Grump
We did it many years ago using Motorhead one time and Kate Bush another time. If you do this, make sure the music is completely different to what your neighbour usually listens to.Big Al wrote: Slipknot, The scorpions, saxon ACDC et al will all do nicely.
One time she had her music on full again and Richard went round, opened her door and walked straight into her house and turned it off. Then walked out again. She didn't turn it on again that day.
Another time, same woman. It wasn't music that was getting on my nerves, but the woman shouting at her toddler. I felt sorry for the little kid, but knew she would not hurt him (physically) and tried to mind my own business as much as possible. However, I couldn't stand it anymore and stormed out to her, shouted at her that I've had a really bad day and have a massive headache and I'm sick to death of hearing her f-ing and blinding at her kid and threatening to kill him (yes, she actually did say to him "I'll kill ya", but like I said, I was confident she wouldn't). That shut her up on that occasion. I think she was shocked because I'm usually a very quiet person who keeps to myself.

Re: Grump
I remember in my electronics classes many moons ago, the professor said there were ways to modify a radio such that it would interfere with another nearby radio and cause it to spew static. He said he used in in his college dorm room a few times. Can't remember how its done though.
