We'll tell you about all the mistakes we made... So you can avoid them! But honestly, everybody has to make their own. And nobody has so far been able to tell me why on earth I can't seem to grow kohlrabi...

I had only ever grown a few tomotoes in grow bags til 18 months ago- now I've got an allotment full of allsorts thanks to giving it a go and loads of help from here, other allotmenteers and just trial and error/books/internet advice.

Not everything is a sucess but then finding out how to do better next year is fun. It's so exciting having a go. I gre Aubergines for the first time this year, the plants got bigger and bigger, flowered, then as October arrived I thought the summer ahd just not been hot enough and my warm corner was no substitute for a greenhouse, went to pull the up and lo and behold amongst the ample, foliage were two big (well not very but) fruit

Definitely just ask and do it!
