I dunno if you were... I missed the first five minutes but didn't see any frugal gardeners after that!

You weren't on, unless you are related to Christina who 'grows her own veg' - cue 2 sec shot of a courgette then two people sitting having a cuppa in the garden.......
I don't think I could stand to watch another programme like that again, that bloke's on speed and the whole thing was just so ridiculous, how do you save when you are already buying the el cheapo brands anyway?

It's aimed at the people who don't think about where their money's going.

On speed.... that's on a slow day. Martin truly loves his evangelical approach to savings but my wife won't watch him now as he crams too much into a half hour programme. Sorry i'm not the courgette...... like andy said in another post TV schedules... who'd have them.
As for the saving, there will always be the people who DON'T benefit from the programme but these are outweighed by the majority of lazy people who don't bother to switch utillities or shopping brands etc. I was one of those and in my first year of being a martin's deciple I saved over £12k.....mind you I was in debt by £73k at the time, lol. It does get harder as it goes on but I aim to cut my bills each year and also make at least an extra £3000 per year. Itdoes take effort but I don't "work" a proper job and don't sleep a lot so I have around 20 hours a day that can be used.
Besides it keeps me out of mischief... well some of the time..

We can't switch utilities here in France. You couldn't when I lived in England either, so the whole thing seems really wierd to me!
How will we know when you are on then Big Al?

Yep, TV people they come and film or call you time after time and then never gets shown. They never pay either. Shame you missed out, but they still have it in the can so I imagine they still could show it at a later date.
