Inspiration please

You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

Some of my regular meals - all "fast" food and easy to cook in minimum of pots (isn't worth using too much stuff if you cook for one person):

couscous with veg (can be served with eggs in any form, or meat/meat substitute)
pasta with veg (sweat off veg, chopped in small bits or sliced finely, add cooked pasta), with grated cheese
left over potatoes (I always cook extra), fried with onions and egg, served with salad
stir fry, served with rice/couscous/noodles, can include any meat or tofu, or add finely sliced omelette for protein

Hi
I hope you enjoy it, one thing i forgot to say is if you like more honey or mustard or whatever, just alter it to your particular taste. I did this last night for our supper and i'm just about to finish the last of it for my breakfast. ( i'm not lazy i've been out and about since 6.30am) :cat:
