thanks again all, its great to know your thoughts are with us, last night the hospital rang and said that there should be a bed ready today for Jane here's hoping, i got up dead early this morning and got some vital work done in the veg plot it has been neglected lately, wow why do weeds grow so well and quickly, i am making jane up a fruit bowl from the plot and a plate of salad so she has some nice organic food to eat while she is in.
Its so lovely to see the plot in full tilt i made some home made blackberry and strawberry yogurt with all the bounty of the last few weeks, while jane is in hospital it will give me a chance to catch up with the garden,
love to everyone

Good fresh food and lots of love - who could ask for better therapy than you are giving her, Russ  I hope that hospital works well and she's soon back on her feet and home. Positive vibes, healing thoughts and gentle hugs to you both. Keep in touch and let us know how you're both doing

Just an update to let you know how Jane is doing, unfortunatly they are keeping her dosed up on morphine still, this allows her to sleep and because of the sleep her blood pressure is coming down, thats the plus side !!!!!!. but it scares me to death having that amount of drugs in her, they said they are going to start her on another "new " drug on tuesday heres hoping this will work, i am trying to get the name before tuesday so i can look up the "side effects".
I baked her a cake this morning, jane loves fruit cake i will take her some in so she can have it with her coffee, my goodness the slop they are trying to feed her is appaling :pukeright:
Jane thanks you all for your positive waves as do i
love and best wishes to you all

From what I've heard of hospitals, they are not the best place to get better... Good on you for providing decent food. Nothing beats homemade. Send her all my love and a few hugs, if she's up to them!

It is such a hard thing seeing someone you love very ill. It is also hard when they are taking strong medicine. You can't help but worry about the effects. Good food plays such a strong part in helping peoples condition/recovery. So what you are doing can really help.

My thoughts are with you and jane.

sending lots of good vibes your way for Jane.

She is so lucky to have food taken in for her - hospital food, and drink for that matter is not nice. I am sure she will enjoy the fruit cake too.

I try not to take medicine - its not nice when they pump you full of something with a strange name and you don't know what it is, or what its doing. Most people just tend to accept it when they are ill - I insist on knowing, much to the doctors horror.
