Bad bad week. Had Dominoes twice and Chinese once, and I was out OTP on Saturday night. Twas not a week of health. This will be so much easier when I move to my flat and have gym access again!

You didn't need to have dominos twice or the chinese but then I didn't need to eat the butter I made because I over whipped the cream! I didn't need to eat the extra bread and double fried egg sarnies... all 6 of them and I certainly didn't need to admit to putting on 6 pounds in a week........

As you say not a good week.....

I've discovered that my scales ALWAYS say the same thing so I can only get an idea of whether I've lost anything when I keep my fortnightly appointment with the doctor. That was on Tuesday and I had lost 7.7lbs. I suppose I was pretty pleased although nothng feels any looser yet! Climbing the hill to the doctor was probably a bit easier though...

Keep going Millims, At least you didn't put any on like me last week !! Are you doing a food diary? these, if you are honest are really good and act as a constant reminder of what you are doing.

Graye,

Can I have your scales that always say the same whem in fact it means losing 7.7 pounds !! 7.7 ponds per fortnight is over 14 stones a year..... do you need to lose 14 stones ??

Again PBF do a food diary and that will shock you into not nibbling or at least nibbling the right things like rabbit food, I mean carrot sticks and celery etc. I know full butter short bread and chockolate biscuits taste better but they have the fat police number on them......

Don't worry too much Penny lane, I put on 6.6 last week and can't really remember where i went off rails except for the pizza, butter and 2 extra loaves of bread... oh then there was the cheese, full fat as well and the cream........

Still this week I've lost 1 kg or 2.2 pounds so on the right way again.

I saw my doc on thursday and declared my weight and that of mrs BA and then told him of our current weight and he was well chuffed for us.

As most of you are ladies did you see or hear of the reports of obeasity and drinking making women have an increased risk of breast cancer. !:8 now as opposed to 1:9 last year.....

Anyone else need to decare even if you have put on ??

Have a good weigh week peeps.....

I haven't weighed myself this week. I have gone between a mixture of binge eating and not really eating at all with all the fuss this week at work so I will hold off with the scales until next week now. I know I haven't lost any weight although I don't feel heavier either :dontknow:

If I have put any on I don't want to know about it for now, too much else to deal with at the moment. :?

Well done to all of you who have lost weight and well done to everyone who has braved the scales at all. I haven't managed it this week and it feels like a failure in itself, but I know I'm not beaten just yet just....procrastinating a little

When i told the doctor that i'd put on 6 pounds he said so what, your body can be getting used to the diet so don't get worried about it. (I didn't tell him the reasons for the 6 pounds as above).

Deal with what you have ot deal with and if your weight loss goes ape shit for a few weeks then so be it but don't give in on the idea of losing weight as that's not wanted.

Have you thought of having a "treat day" ? We do on a Saturday which is the day we get weighed. Today i had Fish and chips and a prawn mayo and garlic, loads of garlic sarnie but now i have the rest of the week to work off more weight. If we don't lose we don't get a "treat day".

Ask yourself what you could really, really eat and maybe pig out on. Then use this as your "treat" but only if you lose weight.

Keep your chins up KB........

No I would disappear completely if I did. But they don't really help much! I have a much simpler quide than a set of scales at the moment. These are a pair of trousers which were excruciatingly tight when I started this (nearly three weeks ago). They are now only extremely tight so things must have improved. I try them on once a week to see how things are going - much more immediate for me than seeing numbers on the scales. Once they are comfortable I have lots of other, smaller pairs to work through. In fact the only thing which really made me stick to this (other than the looming fortnightly visit to the doctor) was my refusal to buy ANY more clothes when I have a wardrobe full of things which no longer fit. As I fit into smaller sizes I'll just give the bigger one to the charity shops (talking of which I need to start a new post on that subject...) so that I won't be tempted to over-indulge again.

A grand total of nowt lost again this week - but at least I've not gained, which was infinately possible having pretty much sat in a car for 2 days and had a slap up Japanese meal. However, I have been exercising more than I was so I'm becoming more toned - my waist is curving inwards now!
