Living Food at Cawdor Castle, Nairn. Scotland.

Post: # 71569Post Shirley »

Highland Feast website

29th September
10am - 5pm
Entry for adults - £3. Children under 16 - free.
(On production of the £3 ticket at the Castle Kiosk, a £4 garden and grounds ticket will be available for £1)

"Living Food at Cawdor Castle", which was successfully launched in 2006, is a celebration of organic food and now will include a section on environmental protection. Attended by some 3000 people last September, it set a bench mark for it's quality of produce and administration, as well as providing education and information on healthy eating and local produce. Supported and assisted by the Soil Association and the Slow Food movement, this sustainable food feast takes place in the beautiful grounds of historic Cawdor Castle. Wonderful organic food stalls will be complemented by top local chefs who will convert the food that is on sale into delicious taster lunches. All this will be supported by a programme of food and drink lectures and live music.
