New Berkshires

Post: # 65630Post Thurston Garden »

I missed posting the arrival of our new Berkshire weaners on here last week. However, I have just posted on my blog about their liberation today. When they discovered the extent of their new run, the ran and ran and ran. Ran so much that when they screeched to a halt near me thy were panting like good uns.

As I have no idea how to embed youtube vids on here, here is the link to the blog post.

They are now 11 weeks old. Slightly older than we normally get them due to the farmer and his wife being away in the sun for a week. Mid October should see them at porker weight, and then it's off to the abattoir. mmmmmm.
