Total Eclipse of the Moon!! Sat 3rd March at a sky near you!

Do you know about an event that you want to talk about? Is there a campaign you have started, are involved in or want to start? Inspired by Marvin Gaye this is your place to tell the world what's going on.

 It's true isn't it. That was the first eclipse I've seen for years and I enjoyed every minute of it.

I set the music player to play moon music all night too - moon river, bad moon rising, the waterboys, all sorts.

Thanks. It was a lovely evening; not too cold and very clear. Given the non-stop downpours all week, I thought that it would be the same last night. A nice surprise!

I got various shots - none amazing but I enjoyed taking them (photography as observation rather than just for the end results):

I was the same - but hey, isn't that what photos are for? I was looking through old pix that I've taken the other day and the memories that come hurtling back were amazing. It doesn't matter how good the pic is so long as it means something to you.... you were there, you took it, and you've got it as an aide memoire for all time.

It's better than a diary!
